Hi Members of IGES and colleagues,
We are swinging towards our swanky meeting in St. Louis. There will
be a short course hosted by Jason Moore on methods and applications of
machine learning tools in Genetic Epidemiology, on September 14th from
1-5:30 (this requires a separate fee). The main meeting will be Monday
September 15 and Tuesday September 16th. Don't miss the
Genetic
Epidemiology Idol competition. Our
inimitable president-elect, Michael Province will serve as Master of Ceremonies for this
event, on Monday the 15th, to be followed by Beatlemania. To obtain the
discounted early registration price, you need to register with regonline
by August 14th. Also, please be sure to make a reservation with the
Hyatt Riverfront,
the IGES and GAW official meeting hotel and use
the G-IGES under the special offer code. Registering with this hotel
provides complimentary breakfast for IGES and/or GAW registrants. We're
looking forward to the September meeting and seeing you there. For
registrants from other countries who need visas, please remember to
request a letter of invitation soon.
Sincerely,
Chris Amos
