St. Louis, Missouri - United States

Genetic Analysis Workshop
[GAW] September 17- 20, 2008

St. Louis is a destination to those who know what a bargain vacation is. Located in historical Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World's Fair, is the award winning St. Louis Zoo, along with a history museum, art museum, and science museum. Tour the St. Louis Arch or the Anheuser Busch brewery. Take time to visit Grant's Farm, the historical home of Ulysses Grant and tour the 281 acre wildlife preserve, see the world famous Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales. What is unique about all these attractions? They are all free to the public.

The Blues were born here. Take a seat in one of the live music clubs to find out how good feelin' bad can be. Flirt with Lady Luck on one of the area's five glittering riverboat casinos. Cruise the mighty Mississippi on a paddlewheel riverboat. Cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals, one of the most successful teams in baseball history, or take a seat for exciting Rams football and Blues hockey games. Marvel at one of the world's top gardens-the Missouri Botanical Garden. Free your inner child at the Magic House, City Museum and other kid- friendly attractions. There is something for everyone in St. Louis. And it won't break the bank! See you then!
