Scientific abstracts are being solicited for the Eighteenth Annual Meeting of the International Genetic Epidemiology Society (IGES), dealing with topics in ethics and genetics, computational analysis, genome wide versus candidate gene SNP analysis, haplotype sharing studies, genetic epidemiology, linkage and/or linkage disequilibrium studies, analysis of complex diseases and traits, statistical genetic methodology, bioinformatics, expression array studies, pharmacogenetics and other relevant topics.
The deadline for abstract submission is Monday, June 8, 2009
Please note that we have made some changes in our abstract submission form for this year. These changes will allow the program committee to evaluate the abstracts blind to authors and affiliations.
If anyone requires an email stating that their abstract has been submitted for visa purposes, please contact IGES@mdanderson.org. The chairman of the program committee will be able to send these emails starting around mid June.
