  • Check-in starts at 2.00pm
  • Check-out is at 9:30am
  • All guests who do not hold a UK passport are required by law to fill in a Guest Registration Form. (This will be provided upon arrival.)
  • *You must have your passport with you*
  • You will then be given a key to your bedroom and directed to your room(s)
  • Porterage service is NOT available.
  • Room key must be returned to Porters Lodge at departure.
  • Arrangements with the Conference and Catering Office for luggage storage if your departure time is later.
  • Internet: Free broadband access (wired)
  • Queens’ College is 100% smoke-free.  
  • Car Parking is very limited. Nearby parking areas are ~£20 per day. Contact the Head Porter for any parking pass availability. (Mr. Jones at qplodge@hermes.cam.ac.uk)

  1. Take a train (National Railway) to the Cambridge Railway Station. The Cambridge Station is about 1.4 miles or 2.25 kilometers walk from Queens’ College. Taxis service – Panther Taxis at (01223) 715715. City buses – Universal bus by Whippet (£2) or the Stagecoach bus Dayrider Pass (£4.10).
  1. Take a scheduled coach through National Express to the Cambridge bus station. Bus Station is 0.8 miles or 1.28 kilometers walk to Queens College. Taxi service – Panther Taxis at (01223) 715715.

HEATHROW AIRPORT (LHR) – 71.59 miles/115.22 kilometers

  1. Underground and train (National Railway) combination to the Cambridge train station. Take the underground train (Piccadilly line) from Heathrow to King’s Cross St. Pancreas (about 1 hour). Then there’s a 45-minutetrain ride (National Railway) from King’s Cross to Cambridge. From the Cambridge rail station, it’s a 1.4 miles or 2.25 kilometers walk.   1. Take a scheduled coach through National Express to the Cambridge bus station. The Bus Station is 8 miles or 1.28 kilometers walk to Queens’ College. Taxi service – Panther Taxis at (01223) 715715.
  2. Train (National Railway), underground and train (National Railway) combination to the Cambridge train station. Travelers to take a train (National Railway) from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria Station. From Victoria Station, travelers must take the London underground train (Victoria Line) to King’s Cross St. Pancreas. After this, travelers must catch a train (National Railway) from King’s Cross to Cambridge. The Cambridge Station is 4 miles or 2.25 kilometers walk to Queens’ College.
